Spicy Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussel Sprouts

  • 1/2 lb bacon

  • 6 Tbsp Gochujang

  • 2 Tbsp Bachan’s Japanese Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

  2. Partially, cook the bacon - get it about 60% done as it will be going in the oven

  3. While the bacon is cooking, wash and halve the Brussel sprouts

  4. In a bowl, mix the 3 Tbsp Gochujang and 1 Tbsp Barbecue sauce together - adjust to your liking.

  5. Add half the Brussel Sprouts to the bowl and mix with the sauce.

  6. On a large baking pan, place the Brussel Sprouts mixture.

  7. Repeat steps 3-5 with the remaining Brussel Sprouts.

  8. When the bacon is finished, place it on a cutting board and chop it into bits. Keep some of the grease.

  9. Spread bacon (and grease) on top of the baking pan

  10. Bake for 40 mins.
