  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter (softened)

  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar packed

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 (12 oz) package of white chocolate chips (substitute semi-sweet chocolate chips to make chocolate chip cookies)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°

  2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt into a small bowl.

  3. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until creamy.

  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  5. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

  6. Stir in white chocolate chips.

  7. Drop tablespoon-sized amount onto un-greased baking sheets (I use a small cookie scoop to help make it easier)

  8. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown

  9. Cool on baking sheets for two minutes before removing and placing on wire racks to cool.
